About the artwork
‘VIBRATIONS’ is a light reactive painting which can be viewed in natural white light or as a mesmerising piece that moves and changes under RGB lights.
Whilst this is the only piece in the BOTANICAL Collection that is not a plant, these vibrational ripples feel like they belong in this collection. Water is the foundational element for all living things and this painting depicts the energetic life force water conveys. The ripples in the water mimic the blooming of a flower.
This piece was painted from a reference photo of a cup of water on top of a speaker which was vibrating with sound. When I noticed the rippling sound-waves creating a current, it felt like a poignant representation of the way water transfers energy. Â
Each layer of this painting can be isolated under either red, green or blue light, which slows down and draws attention to the movement in the water. Alternatively, the vibrations can be viewed all at once, in natural, full-spectrum light which emphasises this colourful painting.
Embrace the allure of this unique art form, perfect for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Don’t miss the chance to own a piece of exclusive art, as seen in British Vogue, that moves and changes, adding a touch of magic to your decor. This painting holds the promise of becoming a treasured keepsake as time goes by.
