The details:
These prints were a fun experiment I tested out in 2023. The shapes you see on the page actually come from real-life bubbles, made by mixing dish soap and water. I laid three silk-screens which had been pre-coated with photosensitive emulsion in direct sunlight, and then poured my bubble mixture on top of them. After 10 minutes, the natural shapes and forms of the bubbles were captured, and I could use them to print with! Each layer has its own unique bubble formation, which you can see when you look closely at the colours and texture. ‘Bubbles’ prints were so fun to make and would lend themselves perfectly for a wall in need of some colour and fun!
